BLOGGING IS GOOD FOR YOUR BRAIN
One of my favorite daily reads is a blog by a couple of doctors in my hometown. They give the lowdown on interesting bits of neuroscience research, and they pontificate upon their own observations. Today they’ve explained the neuronal and synaptical advantages of blogging. Check it out:

Now don’t you feel better about your Xanga habit?
No, I feel old. I’m fourteen years past the average blogger age (as of next week). And I feel pathetic, but that has more to do with the fact that my mind wandered to blogging material during “special time” with my hubby last night! Oy!!! Put a big “L” on my forehead, will ya? (and promise you won’t tell him)
Hey, thanks for that link! A most interesting read indeed…
Hey!!
Thanks so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it!!
Oh, and thanks for sharing that neat info, too!!!
(((HUGS))
Thank you for that. However, I’m so far past the average age that I’m skewing the curve.
Yeah, actually, I do.
I’m not avoiding my homework, I’m developing my analytical and critical thinking skills!

Perhaps they need more research into who comprises the blogging community. I’m well past the “average age” too.
I e-mailed that article to my husband. As for my age, I am 43. There are more middle-aged bloggers than people realize.
Yea for blogging! That article makes me happy.
LMAO! 🙂

You have such an exciting life! Wanted to let you know that I’ve enjoyed reading your posts…must tear myself away and go buy cat litter and nurse the baby, not in that order. Happy weekend to you.
Well, you just can’t argue with science! heh heh
ryc: Yesssss, now I remember. I think Leif Garrett’s rendition of “Runaround Sue” was on my Burger King record! Now how could I have forgotten that?
Just yesterday a colleague of mine was at a conference trying to explain to teachers why they should get on the blogwagon! I emailed it to her anyway…and RachelsMommy has it backwards…she should feel young because she has her finger on the pulse of seventeen year old America. (Well: not literally. That WOULD be illegal.)
forwarding this to my two evil teens! Ha! Ha!….signed Mommy Dearest….hehe…Kim
